New Year, Fresh Start.

I’m not going to lie, this past year has been the year from hell. If something could go wrong, it did, often in spectacular ways I never could have imagined. But if you want to keep your sanity, you eventually have to shake it off, no matter how hard that is, and move forward. Life isn’t for the weak. That’s what I’m doing now, taking one last look at 2025 and leaving it where it belongs. This is a new year, and with it come new opportunities.

I’m not a famous writer, yet, so I still need a day job to pay the bills. I just started a new job, and it’s incredible, truly a perfect fit for me. I couldn’t be happier. That said, it does limit some of the other things I’d like to be doing, but for now, that’s a trade-off I’m willing to make. Once I settle in and get comfortable with my new hours, I’ll start bringing those other projects back into the mix.

I also have a new writing challenge ahead of me. A friend is doing something amazing and asked me to be part of it. I can’t say much right now, but I will when I’m able. What I can say is that it’s a writing project, and one I’m happily doing for free. It’s pushing my creativity in directions I never expected, and I’m genuinely excited about it. When it’s ready, I think you will be too.

This is a shorter check-in than usual, but I’m pressed for time and need to get back to work. Thank you for being part of this journey with me. I’m glad you’re here, and I hope I’ve brought a little light and happiness your way. Have a wonderful New Year.
